ADI..

So while everyone is decribing their own experiences with Adi...why i be left far behind....Hemant spoke about the Roommates and Chai thing....Phani told us about His Partner in CRIME.....But i think i will describe the thing which i remember the most about Adi (other than his CHAI exploits)...and that is....cricket at 425 Sumner (inside the house) during the Fall of 2002 and dialogue sessions of AMERICAN DESI....Hemant is the 3rd member with whom i had shared the expertise on American Desi ....Kya Karthe Ho..Saala...

Cricket at 425 Sumner...Those used to be the times when Myself and Avinash had come to Akron...the size of the field 7 ft by 6 ft approx and the number of people playing it....13-14 on weekends...Amazing times those, must admit....The playing sessions used to start somewhere around 10pm or so and would go long into the night...Adi..the way he is brilliant with the season ball he is damn good at tennis ball cricket too...dismissing batsman with ease and showing the same arrogance and attitude that is associated with him...Battingwise he is as funny and effective on the smaller field as he is on the turf...the longer we played the more gruelling it used to turn out...Hemant never stopped bugging Ravi...and Ravi never ever stopped hitting the ball hard...Ram, Adi and Me were the best bowlers :) and the best batters were again Ram and Adi...On oppostite teams most times both were fighters and played with spirit...midway thro the night we had CHAI sessions thanx again only to one person...do i need to mention him again...AND THEN PLAY RESUMED AFTER ''TEA''....always had a tussle with Adi on the smaller field as to who gets out whom first or who is the better bowler on the day...

American Desi.... "Try the roganni naan..it is the best quality"....."O come on Krishna"......"Forgive me Bhagwan"..."I mean HELLO"....these are just few dialogues that we used to say it out each time we saw each other....nice way to greet each other....We had countless sessions of this movie and believe it or not...we never got bored of it...Most often than not Hemant and Me were the American Desi Fans but Adi slowly caught up with us and we 3 had some great moments talking about the movie...

Now that he is leaving..its a bit sad...But hey, ADImania will always be in Akron...and trust me...HE WILL SURELY MAKE IT TO THE ALL TIME 11 OF AKRON CRICKET as HE IS ALWAYS PUNCTUAL..
