4 More Years..

This is exactly what most Republican banners across America says. The rest says or said "Bush-Cheney 2004". And to the relief of "most" Americans, George W Bush is at the helm again as he is re-elected President of the largest Democracy in the World.

For the past one month or so, the only ads that dominated TV channels were Kerry vs. Bush campaign advertisements. For most part, it looked like either party is trying to portray the "other one" as evil. All in all, it seemed each candidate was trying to bring the opponent down rather than trying to connect and relate to the people of America. And being rather neutral in this issue, i thought the Democrats were more "negative" than the Republicans.

Whoever said this was going to be a tight race didnt hit the bullseye as i felt Bush was always the stronger candidate. He won a whopping majority of 28 States including Ohio and Florida by huge margins.

Bush's re-election also gives all the Indians a sense of relief in the sense that he is prone and open to business and immigration issues with India. More H1B's hopefully, easy immigration policies hopefully and better economy hopefully. We will wait and see.

All said and done, the Democrats will have to wait FOUR MORE YEARS to win the White House.
