I need a break..

Really I do..a pleasent one..i dont care even if its short..its not even a full time job and i am already feeling the pressure..pressure to perform to make it a permanent one..trying hard and in the process sacrificing a lot of things..for example: sleep..sleep-a-holic is one thing that i would like to associate myself as..

I used to have these weird habits when final engineering exams used to be around the corner..used to study from 8am to 12noon..sleep from 12 to 2..study again from 2 to 6..do include all the breaks (lunch..bathroom..everything that you need an excuse to escape studying the fat textbooks and notes)..in the final semester..i used to go to the college to study..in the process, missed my sleep so much that i ended up disturbing my best friends study time..:) he is probably still cursing me for that..

Thesis Defense is just around the corner (read July 9th)...started work on the presentation..hopefully it wont take forever for me to finish it...finished coursework ages ago..so no motivation to open the texts again..but got no choice..no respite for the next 2 weeks...got to get the degree you see...

So while you energetic bods get to play at this time...i just can't wait to get back home from work..eat something and hit bed by 9:45 pm..you read it right..got to get up early you see..SOMEONE GIVE ME A BREAK....

Thought of the day..

When you work very hard one day, you are bound to get tired at the end of it

I know....I know....that didnt make any sense at all...but alas, thats the only thing that came to a tired mind and a tired body...

Euro 2004 and Midwest Cricket in the group stages...Some interesting games...some expected results (read England vs France)....some unexpected ones (ACC win) :) NBA finals done....Akron is happy..atleast most of the junta is...DIE HARD ANTI-LAKERS fans get their due (i am one of them)... F-1 season..same old story..its getting very boring, isnt it...i used to be a Ferrari fan but now...its like...what yaar, need a break from the sea of red....

Waiting to go home, but unlike the other people, this office-goer needs to wait for the bus to come :)..soon there will be a time when the need for a car shall arise, at that time, shall require the advice of fellow-bloggers and frequent readers..for now, Bus No.17 does the needful..
