BUSY BUSY BUSY.....

Seems like its been a while since something new was added on my blogspot....So here it is...Lotsa good things happened since the last post...The ceiling is back where it should be...My project proposal is out of the way...less than 2 weeks to go HOME....AM PLEASED....

Thanksgiving Holidays start today from 5:00 pm...hmmm....not going anywhere as i have to finish of multiple class projects...start studying for multiple exams...AM NOT HAPPY...

Plans to do some chota-mota shopping after class...Hope i can get something really good....Hope to go the mall or wherever Suneel takes me on the 28th morning...DIGICAM is the first thing that comes to my mind and is at the top of the list to BUY..

Hey Hemant, if u r reading this one, that was a nice blog on mere bachpan ka dost...cant remember of any such friend that i had during my childhood...will comment when i remember if i had such a friend...

Looks like Suneel is busy with classes....Kab update kar raha hai blog....looks like Sapna is having a ball of a time in Mumbai...I shall join her soon in AAMCHI MUMBAI....

I think so enough has been said for the moment...

Getting on with life...

So the ceiling fell the other day..So what..life goes on...Thankfully I was dancing like a maniac at the around the world party when the ceiling couldnt hold itself up..been sleeping in the living room since saturday...Landlord is vacationing in Arizona so few more days in distress..

Adi's b'day today..Happy Returns to him...It was a kind of subdued celebration yesterday night or should i say this morning (have never been able to decide whether 12:00 midnite is yesterday or today..)

Nothing more going on in my life..Project Proposal Presentation on 25th...Hope to get things out of the way one by one..

Time to catch some rest and get back into full action later in the afty..

Simply Sensational.....

For those who watched the Indian batting on Saturday morning and those who didnt...those are the words i use to describe the efforts...SIMPLY SENSATIONAL.I am not going to talk more than this as i am not a news reporter...there are sites on my blog that can take you to the best reporters in the world...

Double blow for NZ as they lost in the RUGBY WORLD CUP SEMIS to Australia 22-10...I am not a follower of RUGBY but everytime i surfed espnstar.com, I got RUGBY news as the headlines...so just followed the happenings from there....England take on France in the second semis tomorrow...

AROUND THE WORLD PARTY tonite at the Ballroom....Somehow i am not too keen to attend that...I have been there twice already (Fall'02 and Spring'03) and had lotsa fun..Danced like anything till we dropped dead on the dance floor (dont take my words too "literally"...)

The countdown meter says 22 days to take off to MOTHERLAND...It feels like ages since i last went even though it was in March of 2003 that i had made a DASH to Mumbai for my brother's wedding...Havent shopped anything till now...keeping my hopes for THANKSGIVING....

Have i said enough to end the blog for today...I think so..

Am not delving on the subject of Kirti anymore and for those still curious to know....Lets talk about something else...As i said there are many more interesting aspects of life that can be spoken about...

23 days and i am off to India...for a good 38 days away from tension and research.....when i come back, time to change gears into research mode...August 04 looks Oh....so close to me...

Cant think of anything to write about now...Shall update soon...

I was wondering since the time i came to the department whether or not to write today's share of blog...I thought..well..with nothing much to do..mite as well pen down a few lines...

Was a bad day today considering...Had to meet Dr.Njus but he didnt show up at the lab (am blaming the weather for that...).....Dr.Reddy taking 25 EXTRA minutes today What a pain...)....Worked out a bit too much in the gym that i was literally dehydrated while playing racquetball with Brijesh (lost in 3..gruelling games)....

Exam tomorrow...Hope to do well...There cant be a reason to enjoy writing tomorrow's test (not that there ever was a good reason to write a test before..but nevertheless....)....bad teacher handling a very important subject...A software test where the examiner has little idea how it works...Seems like fun...Hope we pass out properly with decent grades...

India vs Australia...Hmmmm..Mouth-watering clash....By the time you guys read this blog..the game would have been won by the better team on the day...Javagal Srinath retiring at a dicy time for Indian Cricket as the team is about to embark on the toughest of assignments....Hope we salvage some pride with Ganguly's men doing some good thing for Indian Cricket...

Blogging Bug....

Nowadays I think we bloggers are on a roll...Everytime I check out the 4 blogs...Sapna..Suneel..Hemant and of course Rajesh...there seems to be something new...Looks like we have been affected by a severe virus named..BLOGGING....Nice..considering the fact that we are leading oh-so busy lives...some working some getting educated...But apart from all this we still have time to share some part of our lives with our friends...Kya paka raha hoon na main...kya karoo...some thing has to be written in the blog today otherwise I shall be left far behind in the rat-race or should i say BLOG-RACE.....

Time seems to fly past me as i gear up for another clash with my schedule....Saw SAMAY...XCUSE ME....RULES:PYAR KA SUPERHIT FORMULA....during the past few days...all 3 are good decent HATKE movies...All 3 might not have made lots of money at the box-office like some of the tear-jerkers like K3G..CHALTE CHALTE (remembering the Diwali evening) but what the heck...Nice movies...worth a watch..

Browns take on Chiefs tomorrow in Kansas...Any predictions for the same...As much as i would like the Browns to win..I know that the Chiefs are one heck of a team boasting of a 8-0 W-L record in the current season...

Just as Hemant ended up his blog with a question to all the readers...here is one from me too....Would you prefer watching INDIA Vs PAKISTAN in INDIA or INDIA Vs AUSTRALIA...DOWN UNDER....both the series are on but i want your opinion....

So after a good round of support from my co-bloggers..here i am back to full normalcy...HOPEFULLY it stays like this for the rest of the month...India is playing horribly as i follow the scores on Rediff...

Lotsa things due these 20 days in November as i begin to wrap things up for this semester and gear up for a fresh December-January back home...As i write this blog...India inch closer to defeat at Cuttack against NZ..NZ 230/6 (45.4)..Hope for a MIRACLE soon...

Done with writing today..Need to write a lot more when the report date comes...Saving energy for later..

Am getting irritated by the fact that my attempts at meeting my advisor is bearing no fruits...All in vain...Am losing time and i am losing patience...Just when i thought we are back in the project mode he is out for a meeting somewhere....GOD knows when will we have the chance to get back together on the project..

Prayers are the order of the day..Lotsa them...

Happy Birthday Shradha...

It was MURDER time at 450 Allyn St. as it was Shradha's b'day celebrations....As gross as it gets..sounds like a new movie..huh!!..Actually it was Shradha's condition which i described in the form of a movie title..Hemant, Brijesh and Manas along with Anurag did the NEEDFUL for Shradha....

After a round of..should say couple of rounds of cake and chips..it was time to snoozzzzeee.....earlier in the afternoon got 2 cassettes from Bierce Library...UNIVERSAL SOLDIER and THE AMERICAN PRESIDENT.....getting bored with nothing else to do sat down to see UNIVERSAL SOLDIER...Kiran got some of his stuff back from his friends place in Pennsylvania...So now we have a TV and a video for our room...aint that cool....Since the size of the room is not that big...we had to keep the MUSIC SYSTEM in the basement....

After Fracture Mechanics...I had to cook food coz i was pathetically hungry...saw THE AMERICAN PRESIDENT while dinner was on....nice movie must say...a must watch for those who havent seen it...

Going to be busy in the afternoon....got a class and then have to go to AGMC to meet Dr. Njus...

Happy Birthday Shradha......

Pool time..

Last night Myself, Shirish, Sunny and Avinash treated ourselves to 4 hours of pool at the student union..we were joined by couple of Kallus..both of them RAPPERS(One wants to be a Hollywood star and the other wants to be a teacher)....One of them even "rapped" for us...it was fun...

Later in the night...Myself, Shirish and Avinash ended up talking till 3:00 in the morning..Topic for the night...Old Crushes...Girlfriends..Who are the richest guys in the world....Music and more MUSIC....It was fun talking last night...

Doing some I-DEAS now..plans for some cricket in the evening and then hopefully some decent shopping for India.....Made some good sambhar last evening...turned out real good...

Well..time to get back to where i was...I-DEAS....more from me as time goes on...Keep Blogging...

Halloween...

Myself, Avinash and Dhanraj decided at 10:00 pm last night to go to BW-3....But just as we hit Exchange Street...there was this group dressed in HALLOWEEN outfit.....they scared the shit outta Dhanraj....All the way we were thinking..."looks like these guys are heading towards BW-3 too.."......Luckily for Dhanraj, they were off to some other place...

We were there till 11:30 pm...Munching on Potato Wedges while Avinash had Chicken Wings...While we were on our way back to Shirish's place....there was this maddening crowd at Sterling Court....Atleast 300 people were having the time of their lives..drinking away to glory...It was a bit scary to see these guys partying away so hard...

After chatting with Hemant, Sapna n Priya for a while..we came back home...Switched on the TV and video to see some PHIR BHI DIL HAI HINDUSTANI..what a horrible piece of crap....By the way..it is Kiran's birthday today and Doctor is in Pennsylvania celebrating his b'day with his friend...We wished him at 12:00 sharp..He was asleep...

12:40 am...Lying on the bed...thinking i shall get up at 3:45 am and go to Sapna's place for the match..Unfortunately..the alarm didnt go off and instead i woke up at 6:30 am only to go back to sleep...Finally managed to get out of the bed at 11:30 am...Avinash gave the bad news that India had lost to Australia....

My Bhabhi got a job yesterday as an Accountant in a Fitness Center in Irvine, CA....Good to see her getting a job after 7 months of being at home....Congrats to you Manni...

We had lotsa fun playing tennis ball cricket at the baseball field yesterday..things got heated up for a while...But in the end..everyone ended up having a nice time...

Getting bored today with not too much to do...Lets see how the evening goes...Hope its not gloomy as the way it is right now....
