BLOG-stipation..

Found this word in one of the rediff-blogs..it actually means "nothing to blog about"...Really was passing through this phase...Got a lot of work done this spring break in the last 3 days..Mon, Tue and Wed....So now time for a vacation...Taking off to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina tomorrow early morning..the forecast looks good, the excitement is great and India has won 3-2..(not that its going to have any bearing on the trip)...

Will write all about Myrtle Beach once i get back sunday evening..

A Weirdo..

I was at Laundromat the other day and was just putting the clothes in my bag when i was just SHOCKED to hear the news...A dog had a sex change operation...The news reporter said it diplomatically that the DOG is now a B@#$%.....I mean what the heck in the world was that...

Someone the other day had rightly said...THIS COUNTRY IS GOING TO THE DOGS...maybe it should be reframed now..THIS COUNTRY IS GOING TO THE B@#$%s...what say...

My advisor is going to Central America for a 7-day holiday...Man, does he need a break from all of us or what :)...We have been keeping him on his toes for the past 3 weeks...and he needs a break too since the time he came back from the horrible accident...

It snowed the other day and it was the most pathetic thing Northeast Ohio could have hoped for...Everyones waiting for the spring break and WHAM!!!!! 6 inches of snow greets you in the morning..right in your face...

Last year, this day this time..i was on my way to India for my Bro's Wedding...and now here i am bloggin away to glory...Well, life goes on...we just need to brace ourselves for the future...

Snowfall in April...India-Pakistan clashes...Sex change operation for Animals...The list goes on and on.....

My First Crush...

Let me reveal a little secret about my school days to you guys...the most often remembered thing by everyone about schoodays is obviously the first crush..Even i had one...surpisingly even though i was one of the most reclusive kinda boy...the kinda schoolboy for whom girls were like....stay away..thankyou and my "first" crush was on my 6th standard teacher (not that there were too many crushes after that)..Vandana Miss..Naam bhi yaad hai...kaise bhool sakta hun usey main...She was the ultimate beauty and hers was the only class i used to pay attention to...let me clarify this..the attention was not to what she teaching but to her :)...

It was only later that i realised that half the guys in my class had so-called crushes on her...but hey, i would do anything to make an impression on her...did all that could have been possible..not to patao her but to look the best in terms of everything...but then alas, 6th standard was history...we grew up a year older and moved on to the 7th grade...she left the school after one year...(think she understood that all VI-A students were infatuated with her :) )...

Somehow this thing is exactly in similarity to the situation/song from Munnabhai M.B.B.S...Chaila kya Soorat thi.......

Life is a bit tough, isnt it??

Finally..a blog

Its been incredibly long by my standards since i wrote a blog...the last big sabbatical i had taken from blogging was during my time in DESH...But since the time i have come back..hardly anything has been posted (by me)...but then, on the positive side of life, life has been busy and time is flying past way too quickly...its good to see Phani post a blog before me (although it was a forward from an email, nevertheless)...

Accomplished a lot of things during the blog-break (uncalled for but still couldnt help it)...got into full swing project mode...cleaned up my side of the room..(Kiran occupies the other half)..Got a 100 CD pack..Dont know y but had this thing in mind that i will use it sometime later in the near future..so made the investment.....got the Spring Freshers Party done with last night...Saw a few movies during the break (Passion of the Christ, Lagaan(this is soon to be the next American Desi..Hemant, are you reading this??)...Mritunjay and Me have started the bad habit of cracking up everytime Guran comes on screen and makes his mark with his typical one-liners...(Acha hai..Jo bhi hai acha hai..to name a few)..The pool table from the Student Union Bldg was relocated to some other place..so the whole weekend (saturdays and sundays) were spent thinking what to substitute the pool craze with...We kinda set a record for max occupancy of the pool tables (read 4.5 hrs and 6 hrs on 2 continous saturdays)...

Ferrari won..No big deal...As usual, Schumacher and Co. back to business...Just the start of the season, long way to go..Used to be an avid watcher of F1 in India...But slowly the Love of Ferrari more gradually transformed into the Love of Formula-1 and fast cars..May the best driver win was the Mantra with which i used to follow it during later seasons...

Written enough..will be regular from now on..thats a guarantee..Just thinking about whats to be done for the spring break...Any suggestions..help me out..
